COLOMBIA: Export led growth

The government and the central bank are increasingly confident that the economy will grow by at least 4% this year and that inflation will come in on target, both this year and next. The finance ministry noted in August that export receipts in the first five months were 35% ahead of what they were in the same period of 2004.
